Various and sundry things.

In the time between my last purchase of name-brand Oxi-Clean and my most recent, they changed the formula. Changed it, I fear, to one that's not really appropriate for use on the one thing for which I use it: diaper washing.

This causes me no small degree of irk, as I didn't discover it until I'd already opened the Really Really Really Huge tub of the stuff I bought sometime last month.

Ah, well. I suppose I'll just have a really, really, really clean toilet and dishwasher. Have to use the stuff on something, after all.

Speaking of diapers, I have discovered BumGenius, and they are good. Really, really good. I'd cheerfully buy another half-dozen, if I could justify it or they were on sale.

I have also been accused (in loving terms) of being a diaper addict. "Hyena," I corrected without thinking. "The correct term is diaper hyena." (Pause) "Besides, I was actually looking at shoes." Which is true.

It is possible, nay, probable, that all the passion for fashion that's been smothered under easy-access nursing shirts is finding its outlet in the wonderful world of cloth diapering.

I'm torn between lecturing myself about the fact that buying more diapers than we actually need is wasteful, and reminding myself that good cloth diapers have a pretty decent resale value.
